During the days of September 10th to 12th, the coordinator of the Merganser Project of the Terra Brasilis Institute, Lívia Lins, participated in the ' I Workshop about the Brazilian Merganser', that took place in Tocantins. The event, promoted by the Naturatins Institute, was attended by researchers from various institutions, representatives of Ibama, ICMBio, the Public Ministry, ecotourism companies, and others who were interested.

Durante os dias 20 e 21 de novembro, a equipe do Instituto Terra Brasilis participou do seminário “O Fogo no Parque Nacional da Serra da Canastra: Conhecimento Científico e Comunitário”, que aconteceu na cidade de São Roque de Minas. Patrocinado pelo ICMBio e apoiado pela Universidade Federal Fluminense e pela SICOOB Saromcredi, o seminário contou com a participação de representantes de comunidades e cooperativas agrícolas locais, de governos estadual e municipais da região, pesquisadores de várias instituições, de ONGs atuantes na região, entre outros interessados.

On November 20th and 21st, the Terra Brasilis Institute Team participated in the "Fire in the National Park of Serra da Canastra: Scientific and Communitarian Knowledge" seminar, that was held in the city of São Roque de Minas. Sponsored by the ICMBio and supported by the Fluminense Federal University and by SICOOB Saromcredi, representatives of the community and local agricultural cooperatives of the state and municipal governments, researchers from various institutions, of working NGOs in the region and other stakeholders also participated in the seminar.
